Kenya-based East Africa Reinsurance Co. Ltd. has expanded its operations to Tanzania by establishing a subsidiary in the country, called East Africa Reinsurance (Tanzania) Co., Middle East Insurance Review reported. The Tanzania Insurance Regulatory Authority has licensed the new firm as a local reinsurer, effective Nov. 8.
